Many MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) gamers take the games all too seriously. Why shouldn t they? Their pride and honor is at stake. If World of Warcraft is their canvas then skills like leveling merit a status, no less than that of an art. There are a lot of WoW leveling guides out there, but to start with, you can do with the very basic knowledge of leveling and the various ways of leveling.

If you are an absolute noob, even then you might be able to guess the meaning of leveling. If you are not good at the guessing work, then let me divulge the meaning of leveling until you hone your guessing skills-Eh! That s a lame excuse. WoW Leveling, as made obvious from the term itself, is the process of gaining experience and consequently going up in level. In Role Playing Games, the player goes up in level by gaining experience, which in turn is measured through experience points. The more experience points you accumulate, the faster you progress to the higher level. Higher level players hold a distinct advantage over the lower level players. This advantage can be in terms of skills and character attributes. Also, you can perform certain tasks based on your level. This implies that a level-1character cannot perform a level-2 specific task. Higher level tasks carry greater rewards, thus making leveling a crucial process.

Questing, raiding and mobbing are a few basic examples. You have the option of going into leveling-overdrive with power leveling techniques. The power leveling techniques are same as the basic leveling techniques, but they are undertaken at a great pace.
